Authentic African Black Soap is not jet black but has more of a brown looking color. In the making of African Black Soap, the plantain leaves, cocoa pods and other plant-based materials are sun-dried and then burned into ash.

How to use: Just like any other soap but African Black Soap can be drying to some so please follow up with your favorite moisturizer from BZB Self Care. If soap is too drying, please limit use to 2-3 times per week.
Disclaimers: When African Black Soap is exposed to air, it develops a thin white film on the surface. This is not mold. To avoid this, do not let soap sit in water and you can place your soap bar in an airtight zip lock bag. Soap design and colors can change at any given time but ingredients will remain the same!
